Big brand thinking.

 Small business focus.

From big brands
to bold independents

After 14 years building and running a creative agency, working with brands including M&S, Tesco and Wickes, I decided it was time for a different way of working.

Closer to the work.
Closer to the founders behind it.

And focused on what actually moves the needle -

Your positioning.

What I kept seeing

Ambitious businesses doing great work — but struggling to explain it clearly..

Or websites that no longer reflect what the business where the business is now. Messaging that hasn’t kept up with how things have evolved.

Not because the work isn’t good. But because no one has properly joined the dots.

Business owners are experts in what they do. Stepping back and defining it properly is a different skill.

Your website is where it all comes together

Not just somewhere to “put things”.

It’s where your positioning, messaging and offer meet.

Where someone decides:
“This is for me.”

Or not.

It’s also the one marketing asset you actually own.

Yours — working for you, even when you’re not in the room.

The gap I step into

What growing businesses don’t need is another agency passing work between teams, a developer who can’t design, or a designer who can’t write copy.

They need one person who can:

▹ clarify the positioning

▹ shape the message

▹ and design the website that brings it all together

So it’s clear, compelling — and easy to choose.

That’s where I come in.

Brand strategy

For when you need to define or realign your positioning before even considering other work.

The result

A brand that reflects the business you’ve actually built.

A website that makes it easy to understand — and easy to choose.

And something you can confidently build everything else from.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the mountains. I’ve climbed Kilimanjaro, trekked to Everest Base Camp, and I’m slowly ticking off the Scottish Munros.

At home, I share the office with Ernie the Whippet — my loyal associate, occasional Zoom guest, and official reminder that life is always better with a wagging tail.

Two climbers wearing red jackets and gray hats celebrate at Uhuru Peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, with a green sign behind them reading 'Congratulations! You are now at Uhuru Peak, 5895 m.'
